What ever happened to...?
Sometimes Monkeeland members or some of our favorite Monkees-related people go missing
from time to time. Sometimes they just have secret lives! Never fear though, the crack staff at Monkeeland
has tracked down these people and we're reporting their "true" lives here.
* Some of you will remember Angela, or Lala,
as we often called her. We saw Angela through dating and then marrying Travis, but we
haven't heard much from her since her honeymoon. It seems that shortly after they were
married, Lala and Travis ran off to Hawaii, where Lala took over the island. They even
named a road in her honor. (photo by: Lizzy) Even though she's taken over the island, she can't stand to just
lounge around all day. Not our Lala! She opened a realty company &
insurance agency. We wish her much luck. (photo by: Missy)
* Stephen Stills has been called
"The 5th Monkee". We all know that he auditioned for the Monkees, but was told that his
hair and teeth weren't right. He told good friend, Peter Tork, about the audition, and the
rest is history. We caught up with Stephen and were surprised to see what career path he'd
gone down.
* Who knew that Paul's girl trouble would come to
this?
* The Chickies always have a problem with where to keep their HUGE collections of Monkee
memorabilia. BB, Mama Chick that she is, took the
problem in hand and started her own business. She's also the one who makes sure all the
Chickies eat on their road trips.
*Hearty is one of the Chickies. She wanted to help Greenie make sure all the Chickies ate well while
travelling around, so she opened a lovely company called Hearty's Nuts.

* Scottish Inns - After uni, L & Feef decided to go into business together. All
Monkeelanders stay with them while in Scotland!
* After the Monkees, Peter Tork started his own bathroom fixture

* Micky Dolenz branched out as well, with several businesses, including a linen and towel
supply company. It's nice to see he and Peter back together again, isn't it? (photo by: Cindi)
